**Vocalist KIRSTEN ALMEIDA is the Managing Artistic Director of Star of the Day in Emmaus, PA, having founded the company in 2011. Kirsten is a professional singer, actress, dancer, director, choreographer, producer, playwright, composer, vocal coach, and arts educator. She is a proud member of Actors Equity Association, and she has appeared both on and off Broadway as well as in film and on TV. She has performed in both regional and national tours. Favorite roles include Alice Dax (Scandalous), Evangeline (They Rally For Death), The Witch (Big Fish), Narrator (Joseph...Dreamcoat), and Helen (Fun Home). She has been a guest vocalist with NJ's Triad Arts Ensemble as well as with The Discovery Orchestra.  She runs “Free Your Voice” Singing Acting Studio in Emmaus/Hellertown and teaches theatre, dance, and music at several venues throughout the valley. A HUGE thank you to her husband, Michael, for having the patience of a saint, and to her 3 furbabies! For Beth Always!

Rick loves to sing and act and has been blessed with opportunities to do both since the distant days of high school. Rick’s years as a performer have acquainted him with nightclubs and churches, television and radio, William Shakespeare and Steven Sondheim. He has appeared in starring roles in many of the most popular musicals including Quixote/Cervantes in “Man of La Mancha,” Lancelot and King Arthur in “Camelot,” Jesus in “Godspell,” and El Gallo in “The Fantasticks.” Rick has been appearing with the Garden State Symphonic Band as a featured vocalist for more than twenty years! Over the years, Rick has established himself as the most requested vocalist by our audience.
